A reason why having life principles is essential, is so we do not get carried away. As we grow older, as we financially improve and have more access to the many things this world has to offer, it's really easy to get carried away and forget our identity. Have a grip to hold on to and never let this world take over yourself. We're supposed to conquer the world, not the other way around.
